Voss Super Saturday celebrates 22 years of Hero Schools in Las Vegas
On December 9th, 10am – 4pm, Voss Automotive is hosting a special 22nd Anniversary event to benefit Hero School Initiatives, the local 501C3 non-profit that has helped more than 40,000 people break free from homelessness in our town since 1995.
Voss Super Saturday is supported by the Mustang & Classic Cars Club of Las Vegas, KOMP Radio and many local and like-minded businesses. More than 80 classic American Cars are expected. “This will be a great celebration with good food, live music and good times for a very important cause,” says Anderson Voss, owner of Voss Automotive.
Classic cars and old school values merge to benefit those struggling in our community. ‘These latest kids and adults living on our streets, in parks and in shoipping centers need more than just help – they need heroes who can show them the way out of repeated history and into learning, earning and purposeful living,” says Tiger Todd, founder of Hero School.
The event will have Live Music, Food Trucks, Raffles and Prizes throughout the day, and will accompany a `Coat Drive` benefitting the homeless attending the Downtown Hero School the week before Christmas. The first 150 attendees who bring a tax-deductible donation of a new or gently-used coat or a $20 gift (suggestion) will receive an exclusive commemorative event T-Shirt. Attendees will also vote on their favorite cars for the `People`s Choice Award’ and trophy. There will also be fun activities for children.
