ABOUT Hero School

Hero School Initiatives was founded nearly 2 decades ago by entrepreneurs who believed education, heroism and faith – not just food, clothing and shelter – were the keys to ending homelessness.

Hero School is today both the pioneer and leader in social, behavioral and Character Change® education, having helped more than 40,000 men and women including veterans and youth break free from homelessness. Hero School’s “Human First” approach reaches the unreachable through a unique combination of street interventions, accelerated education, motion picture philosophies and entrepreneurial strategies. Hero School initiatives are developed and delivered by a force of Extraordinaries, committed heroes and heroines who contribute the best of themselves to empower and equip those struggling through life to become responsible, employed, community contributors.
