Sleeping Bag Thanksgiving

At first he was stunned when I stopped in the right traffic lane and asked if he needed a sleeping bag.

As I pulled the new red sleeping bag out and a few dollars since I didn’t have a bus pass, he got really happy.

As for the people in the one car behind me that refused to pass: not so much.

The driver must have honked like 10 times. If this would be you, trust me: I’m not worth even one honk. Save your noise. I’m not moving.

Perhaps the driver thought I’m the kind of guy who moves forward based on what’s behind me, instead of what’s within me.

Happy Thanksgiving.
